The first Southeast Missouri State University Alumni Choir Reunion on Saturday, March 16, 2013, was an emotional, wonderful, musical experience for the choral alumni. The concert was better than we could have hoped for, and the friendships that were forged through choral music years ago are still strong and heart-warming. Doyle A. Dumas Choral Scholarship

The Doyle A. Dumas Choral Scholarship is a new scholarship established in 2013. It will eventually be an endowed, yearly, $500 scholarship that will go to a choral student in the music department at Southeast Missouri State University. To reach endowment status, a total of $10,000 must be in the scholarship account. This scholarship has been created in honor of Dr. Doyle A. Dumas and his 31 years of service to the Choral Music Department and his hundreds of students he taught and led in song during his tenure at Southeast!
